The Coral Springs Police Department announced that their investigation into the reason why three teens died in a car crash will takes months.
The three teens drowned early Sunday morning when they were trapped in a car that plunged into a canal. A fourth person in the car survived.
Initial police reports indiciated that the car's driver may have been trying to flee from a minor fender, but police cautioned that they still are are not certain of this. At the time of the accident, the teens were at their high school, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High's, homecoming.
